
The stone wall around the Museum with the wrought iron door of the first incarnation of the Museum still welcomes the modern visitor. The cypress shown in the 1910 photo still casts its refreshing shadow on the century old courtyard of the Museum.

People
Visits by disabled persons is recommended to be preceded by contacting the Museum at least one day before the actual visit. This will facilitate better arrangement of the visit conditions adapted to the needs of the visitors.
Luggage drop-off
Luggage drop-off is available in the entrance of the Museum. Visitors are obliged to leave their cary-ons and any luggage at the drop-off. However, the Museum can not be hold responsible for any loss or damage of items left in the drop-off.
Photography & Video
Taking photographs and video at the exterior and/or the interior of the Museum is free of charge as long as it is taken for personal, no commercial use. The use of flash is prohibited.
Photographs and/or video for commercial use in any part of the Museum must be carried out under a special contract license between the person or institution interested and the Archaeological Receips Fund (www.tap.gr). The license may include the payment of rights. You may fill-in the application form provided by the Secretariat of the Boeotia Ephorate of Antiquities.
Pets
Pets are not allowed entrance in the Museum. Dogs guiding persons with visual impairment are allowed entrance with the visitor being guided.
